Александра Очирова. Посол Доброй Воли ЮНЕСКО. Член Комиссии Российской Федерации по делам ЮНЕСКО.
Окончила философский факультет Московского Государственного Университета в 1972г.;
Аспирантуру Института философии Академии Наук СССР в 1976г. , Высшие дипломатические курсы при Дипломатической Академии МИД России в 1995г.;
Избиралась депутатом Государственной Думы РФ первого созыва, где работала Заместителем председателя Комитета ГД по международным делам.
Является основателем и президентом первой неправительственной женской организации в стране "Международный Женский Центр", которая в 1995г. была номинирована на Нобелевскую Премию Мира.
С 2006г. в течении трех созывов была членом Общественной Палаты РФ, где вела социальный блок вопросов и активно участвовала в формировании социальной политики страны, за что была удостоена Грамоты Президента России, Председателя правительства, государственных орденов, медалей и общественных наград.
В 2006г. Указом Президента России была назначена членом Президиума Совета по реализации национальных приоритетных проектов.
Состоит членом многих национальных и международных общественных организаций, творческих союзов и научных сообществ.
Доктор философских наук, поэт, член Союза писателей Российской Федерации, член - корреспондент Российской Академии художеств.
А.Очирова является признанным авторитетом в концептуальных вопросах гражданского общества, национальной безопасности, международного культурного сотрудничества и развития человеческой цивилизации. Она - сопрезидент Общероссийского Общественного движения "За сбережение народа", председатель попечительского Совета национальной пенсионной ассоциации.
Как ученый и поэт, она поддерживает идеи нового нравственного порядка, гуманизма , социальной безопасности и ответственности. А. Очирова автор многих книг, статей, двенадцати поэтических сборников, за что получила широкое признание и уважение общественности. По словам видных общественных, научных и культурных деятелей, поэзия Александры Очировой представляет новое направление поэтического творчества под название "Русский космизм".
Её деятельность известна как в стране, так и за рубежом, и направлена на сохранение и развитие человека, и человеческой цивилизации. Также является послом Международной торговой палаты Великого шелкового пути (Китай, Гонконг)
